she should probably stop crying
to refrain her heart from shattering
she knows it's probably right to move on
but she can't let go that easily
and hopes he hasn't either
of his own doing he pushed aside
all emotions related to her
for days, months and even years
no truths were true and tears weren't cried
she drew her curtains and kept it all inside
she kept on like she couldn't breathe
without the aid of his words
it took him a long time to see
through his eyes she was a stranger
